About Me
Hello! my name is Kearan Barnett. I am a freshman Psychology student at Hiram. I chose to take this Digital Imaging class in order to broaden my knowledge of the different types of editing softwares and find new and innovative ways to make my information and pictures pop! I have had a wonderful time creating my own projects as well as learning how others have made theirs.
Branding Brief/ Intro
In this class I have created a logo and a brand that would best represent me. My original video had a lot of bright colors and is very vibrant in general, to me this radiates happiness and good vibes. That is kind of where I wanted to go for this site too, but I think the more neutral/ natural colors fit better. I think of myself as a plant mom if that makes sense. That is where I got inspiration for the colors you see on this site. I love plants. I dress how I want to and that usually includes bright and flowy clothes that are pretty unusual, but I think it is fun and unique! Two colors I based my site around were green and tan. Those are my go to, nature vibe colors, and I think it worked out pretty well for the site! I really dig the serious but still fun vibe and that is why I like this font and this style of website. Overall I am very happy with how this class went and everything that I was able to accomplish within it :)

Gif Project
This gif project was really fun! I took a video of the trees outside my dorm room blowing in the wind. Then I took my logo and had it fade into the gif which I think looks pretty cute. It was a struggle trying to get the colors to look nice while also being able to save it down to a reasonable size, but I am happy with how it turned out!
One of my favorite assignments was the Warhol project. We were tasked with creating an Andy Warhol style photograph of ourself using photoshop and it was challenging, but very fun !
My final project collage
My final project used a majority of the skills that we learned throughout the semester. I used adobe illustrator to create shapes, photoshop to edit photos and merge them together to create the background collage. Then finally, I made a gif of the flower losing it's petals and combined it with the collage to have a representative example of all the things I learned how to do this semester. This piece is very personal to me as it includes things that are important to me and my life :)
